Halloween is such a great time of year, people dress up, give out candy, have Halloween parties alongside cosy nights in watching their favourite spooky shows and films with some yummy snacks. It is the perfect mix of activities as the weather starts to get colder and we want to spend more time indoors. However, not everyone likes scary stuff, or not really scary stuff but still want to get in the Halloween spirit. So here is a great list of things to watch which isn’t that spooky and you can still sleep with ease.
//01 Hotel Transylvania
//02 Hocus Pocus
//03 The Addams Family
//06 The Nightmare Before Christmas
//07 The Craft
//08 Edward Scissorhands
//09 Shaun Of The Dead
//10 Harry Potter
Another one of my traditions for Halloween is to rewatch all of The Simpsons Treehouse Of Horrors and luckily with the new Disney+ sections they can all be found in one section so you don’t have to go through the hundreds of episodes to find them! I know Halloween has certainly changed over time and people tend not to trick or treat anymore. So having a movie night in with your closest is a great alternative. You could even throw a Halloween party and have a not so spooky movie marathon the next day if heads are feeling a little rough from one too many cocktails.
Spooky inspired snacks are the must haves to incorporate into a movie night. There are so many things you can do like chocolate covered spooky fruit, spider cookies and so much more. There will be an upcoming blog post on the top easy to do Halloween treats for kids (but adults can enjoy them as much as kids) We are all big kids at heart right?
