Let’s face it, we are in a a society where selfies are a daily occurrence, having a gleaming bright smile can make all the difference in your confidence which shines through into your image. There are app’s which can do it but its better for those snaps other people take which you maybe unaware about and can look stunning every time!
Here are my 5 top tips on keeping that smile bright and beautiful.
//01 Eat better
It’s simple but reducing how much sugary junk food you have can really help your teeth look cleaner, whiter and help prevent cavities.
//02 Reduce how much fruit juice you have
Fruit juices are highly acidic and contribute towards running the enamel on your teeth which protect it
//03 Whitening toothpaste
I always look for a whitening toothpaste as it is always nice to have a boost of white teeth. It really helps my confidence and makes me want to smile more.
Recently I’ve been using Colgate Advanced White. It removes surface stains, while restoring the natural whiteness of your teeth. It says you can get whiter teeth in 10 days and I’ve really noticed a difference. It also says that it helps prevent new stains which can help your teeth stay whiter for longer.
This product was gifted by Colgate, but all views are my own
//04 Reduce coffee, fizzy pop, wine and smoking (if you do that)
They can contribute towards discolouration which can affect your teeth and your smile. Top tip, use a straw where you can with fizzy pop and iced coffees as this can reduce the discolouration.
//05 Poor oral hygiene
Remember to brush twice a day for 2 minutes, finding a 2 minute song can help and is a great way to encourage your children to brush for the right amount of time. Flossing and using mouthwash is always a good part of your oral hygiene routine. Another bad side effect of not brushing often is bad breath which lets face it no one wants, morning breath is bad enough without having it all day.
Those are my top tips, bonus tip, red and bright lipsticks make your teeth look brighter and draw focus to your mouth. If you have any tips or ideas on making brushing fun for toddlers let me know in the comments below so everyone can share and learn.
