Be Fab, Shop Sustainably and Waste Less | Gifted

FAB aka Fill a bag is an amazing idea and they seem to be popping up all over the place like preloved kilo and all sorts. The difference with preloved kilo is you pay for weight whereas for FAB you pay £10 for a nice sized plastic bag and you can fill it with whatever you heart desires. FAB is a great event to go to if you are looking to reduce the amount of waste you add onto the worlds problems. So many new clothes are being brought, manufactured and end up in land fill after a couple wears. It may be “fashionable” to not wear something so much but then why don’t you give it to charity and buy from charity or amazing things like this. It just makes sense.

There is certainly some hidden gems in their, I found pieces from River Islands and Zara which on it’s own the pieces would have been so much more than the £10 you pay for a big ol’ bag filled with clothes. The people running FAB are fab themselves, super friendly and so easy to talk to. They constantly are restocking the shelves, there is seriously something for everyone. When I went in I was a bit skeptical being a bigger girl thinking they wouldn’t have much of anything in my size, but I really wanted some jackets. I managed to pick up a river Island jacket and a nice formal black blazer for nights out! Not to mention the comfiest oversized cardigan anyone could ask for.

Go over and like their facebook page to see where they will be going next! I can’t wait for them to come back to Coventry so I can get more clothes.

This looks and sounds like such an amazing idea! For the money the bag you got is MASSIVE! 😀 I love what you picked up too, the cardigan looked so snug and comfortable. Always need something like that in your wardrobe. 😀

I definitely want to go to something like this really soon as I’d love to try and pick up some pieces for work for a bargain! 😀 I’m after some new dresses and cardigans. Next time I’m in Coventry I’ll be heading there me thinks. 😛
