Esquires in Coventry has sort of become one of my new spots to go when I meet friends or family and also where I hold my monthly meet ups for my Coventry Bloggers group. The friendly staff are always a delight and so lovely, I’d never had bad service or someone be blunt or rude. I would safely give the service 10 out of 10. Which is most likely why this place has lasted 10 years and has celebrated its 10th birthday this month. In style I might add.
Throughout December every 100th customer received a prize, they ranged from free coffees to a £100 Amazon voucher, how amazing? I’ve spoken to and met the Manager Stephen who opened the cafe and he is so lovely and winning at life. From opening Esquires he was named BFA HSBC UK Young Franchisee of the Year 2013, as well as HSBC Midlands & North Wales Franchisee of
the Year 2012 from opening the store at only 23 years old. If that isn’t goals I don’t know what is?
Their festive menu is amazing and you can read all about it here on my review post. I went there for my last Coventry Bloggers meet up and if you are a blogger in Coventry and would like to come to one, please get in touch! I had a Hot Chocolate with Coconut Milk and Vegan Lemon Cake, staying away from dairy.
As expected the hot chocolate was super tasty and not really rich. I’ve found I much prefer coconut milk in my hot chocolate compared to other non dairy milks. The cake was moist, tasty and you couldn’t really tell there was no dairy. It just tasted like normal cake.
They have some real gems on their menu so I would highly recommend going there to check it out. I will be there again in the New Year for sure. They have also started doing events at the store like craft meet ups where they teach people to knit. It really intrigues me and I would actually love to learn so I may go down sometime for sure.
