You’ve had a long day at work, you get home and you now need to cook a meal – BUT you really can’t be bothered. You just want to sit on the sofa, get in your PJ’s and put on a good film – sound familiar? Well luckily, McDonald’s now offer McDelivery – so you don’t even have to leave the house to get your favourite food.
As a busy working woman in the 21st century who, like most others, has a side hustle, it can be a struggle to work, have a social life, run a blog, spend time with family plus do everything else. Being able to get food delivered on those days when you just don’t have the time to cook is a life saver. UberEats delivering McDonald’s fits into my life perfectly and gives me a treat without having to put in much effort at all.
Luckily in Coventry there are five restaurants now offering McDelivery – at Cross Cheaping, Alvis, West Orchards, Canley and Gallagher Retail Park. So, if you were unlucky before and were just out of the area then if you are within 1.5 miles of any of these restaurants then it is now available to you! Hooray!
I put my order in on an evening after having a rough day at work and coming home and having to catch up on housework. I ordered my all-time favourite combination of Chicken McNuggets, Fries and Coke Zero along with the Cheese Melt Dippers which are a new favourite of mine from the brand-new Festive Menu
Scott went for the classic Quarter Pounder meal with Fries and Coca-Cola – he also added on a cheeky McFlurry because who doesn’t need a treat after a long day?
You can still customise when you order online so, if you don’t like gherkins like me then you can take them off or (if for some strange reason, like Scott) you love them, you can double them up!
My order came so quick, still nice and hot, no need for plates. We put on a film and were ready to enjoy – and another bonus, no washing up!
