Cake Through The Letterbox

Birthdays, Weddings, Christmas and any occasion really, cake is there and enjoyed by all. Maybe even a Sunday afternoon with a cup of tea. From my previous posts you’ll know how much I love personalised gifts especially when I can put my baby on it!

Bakerdays is an online cake shop where you can get personalised cakes and cup cakes. They kindly sent me a cake to review and a tasty review it was. The cake was really (I hate this word) moist. I know people hate that word as well but it was. I had a letterbox cake which is such an amazing idea. A cake that fits through the letter box, you don’t have to worry about it being squashed or damaged as it is packed in a tin with bubble wrap around, it stays in a perfect condition.

The quality of the image really surprised me as well. It does blur the longer you leave it but even then its really clear.

Scott doesn’t really like cake so if we do a little family get together, we don’t want a massive 3 tier expensive cake that some people get because it would just be wasteful of food and money. I would much prefer to get something like this which tastes great and looks so good. The only thing I would say is because it was such a good photo I didn’t want to cut through her face!

I was really pleased with it and have already hinted to Scott that I want one for my birthday which is New Years Day. You can choose the print on the cake from over 1000 designs for all different occasions and then choose the inside. You can choose from Chocolate, Victoria Sponge, Lemon Drizzle as well as Gluten or Dairy free.

*This cake was gifted to me to review, but as always all opinions are my own and I will always be honest with my readers*

Have you ever had a personalised cake before? What picture would you get put on a cake? Let me know in the comments below.

What a lovely idea! I'm all for cake, and wish that I could have it everyday for breakfast tehe. What flavour of cake did you go for?I'm amazed that the cake fitted through the letterbox, although I do wonder what would happen to it if it didn't fit through… Lizzie Bee // Hello Lizzie Bee
