I have certainly discovered the more personal side to Christmas as I’ve got older and it is more about family than getting a huge pile of presents. Presents are a lovely part of Christmas and I would never stop giving presents as I love it. Especially since having Lily, personalising presents is my favourite thing to do. I love to be creative and give something different than the normal perfume, chocolate and gift sets. I feel that it just gives that something extra and shows you have really put some thought into your gift.
This Christmas just like last year I will be opting for some personalised gifts. Tesco photo were kind enough to let me try some of their products and I adore them, not only because it has my beautiful babies face all over them but they are amazing quality too. I got some gifts for others but couldn’t resist treating myself to a few things, but that’s what this time of year is all about right?
I got an amazing range of items and I am already thinking about ordering some more. Firstly I picked up a photo block, simple and it will go perfect around the house or on my desk so I can see my baby while I work. The first gift I chose to get was some key-rings, I got a few of these and they are really affordable at only £2.50 and you can choose two photos to go in it. I think these would be great for stocking fillers especially for new parents/grandparents.
We all work and we all need things to make it that little bit more tolerable. The next few things are office based and perfect for someone who has a desk job or needs that pick me up during the day. You can personalise mouse mats, mugs and notebooks. I love mugs and have so many, having one to cheer me up while at work with a picture of Lily on is perfect or even if you don’t have kids, maybe a snap from a girls holiday? You can personalise it and put whatever you want on it. The possibilities are endless.
For the notebook, I opted just to get my Coventry bloggers logo on, so I can keep my lists and ideas for that separate and organised. Also how cute that it comes with a pen and only £3.95.
Last Christmas I got my mum a personalised calendar of Lily so I thought, why not get one again, I plan on getting them every year and hopefully she will keep them and see her growing up in those pictures too! Most people get some sort of calendar so why not make it better by personalising it?
The last thing I got which I love! Is a personalised snow globe, I didn’t even know this was a thing but I am obsessed with it. I got a picture from Christmas day last year of Lily and I and I plan to keep it as a staple in my Christmas decorations every year. This would be a perfect present for kids, having a picture of themselves in a snow globe? I mean who wouldn’t want that! See what other gifts you can personalise this year at Tesco.
