Halloween was yesterday and I spent my halloween as I normally due, snuggled up watching The Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors. I also spent the weekend before Halloween at FarGo village for their Halloween market. There was so many independent stalls for handmade or unique things for sale. I really feel that supporting smaller brands and the one man show shops is really important for our economy so going to markets like this is really important and you get to see things you wouldn’t normally in the big brand stores.
The indépendant stalls looked so amazing and I wish I took more money with me, I wanted to stock up on fudge, buy some of those amazing Harry Potter vials and of course buy some cakes! There was also some beautiful jewellery stalls and some art pictures of horror films and some even had a lego figure in the frame which was super cute! Some of the wonderful stalls that were there was A Little Treat, Curlicue Glass, Cornish Fudge Bar, Fantayzia Designs and A Spell For You. Go check them out, they seriously have some amazing stuff.
One of my favourite shops from FarGo village was there. Backhaus&Co are a permanent fixture in FarGo village and one I am very fond of. It is the place I held my Coventry bloggers event at and the perfect place to go for a coffee and cake with a friend or to go and get some blogging work done. Also as I am lactose intolerant and nearly all of the treats and cakes are vegan is good for me. I tried one of those mouthwatering cronuts and they were amazing, the icing/filling was so creamy and who doesn’t love a cake/donut mix?
