Breathe it in, the mulled wine, cinnamon and that fresh pine smell. Yep Christmas is definitively here, my tree is up and the Christmas clothes are out. Also, the advent calendars start tomorrow, be that gin, beauty products or just plain chocolate. I don’t mind being festive a bit earlier, a lot of people are and apparently research has shown you are a happier person if your tree is up early. So, there you go, I’m a happy Emmy.
This Christmas is extra special as it is our first Christmas with Lily, obviously she is too young to know whats going on. However, I will still get her a few presents and she adores looking at the tree so I know she will take after me on the Christmas fanatic side. Well, I hope so, but what kid doesn’t love Christmas. I was sure I wanted to buy her some Christmassy clothes. I’ve never brought her expensive clothes they have either been from Primark or Asda. I really don’t get the point, they grow out so quick and all she will do is be sick on them and hardly wear them.
So obviously when the Primark more affordable Christmas line came out I was thrilled. I opted for some patterned Christmas leggings, a top and two jumpers. I don’t think I spent much more than about £20, if that.
Primark is every penny pinchers dream, as well as having amazing style. As you can see she looks adorable in these clothes, the last thing I want to get is some Christmas pyjamas to wear on Christmas eve, for both of us!
