Duerrs Marmalade and Apple Slice*

Fruit pastry slices…Perfect sweet treat for breakfast on the weekend or dessert for any day. Pastries are not my favourite treat but sometimes I just really have a craving or them. When I do, I much prefer to make them myself rather then buy them. I love making my own food and bake things, its just so therapeutic. So to make these yummy slices…

You will need:

  • 2 apples thinly sliced
  • Light puff pastry
  • Duerrs Marmalade
  • Sugar

  1. Unroll the pastry and cut to the size slices you would like
  2. Spread on the marmalade in the middle of the slice
  3. Thinly slice the apple and fan it out over the marmalade
  4. Fold over the sides so the marmalade doesn’t leak on the tray
  5. Pop in the oven at 200 degrees pre heated for 15 minutes or until golden
  6. Enjoy warm, perfect for dessert with some ice cream on the side
