I’ve only been to Wagamama’s once before and it was good, but I had wish I tried something else. I had the Chicken Donburi and went there with my best friend, Shan. Unfortunately it is a very popular place, so it can be hard to get a table. Silver lining and all that, they now deliver in my home town, wooo. They deliver through Deliveroo which is a premium delivery site. They deliver for restaurants that wouldn’t normally do delivery and give you should a larger variety of take away you can have in the comfort of your own home.
This time me and Scott spoilt ourselves, from left to right on the picture above we got, Chicken and Prawn Cha Han Donburi, Noodles, Chicken Ramen, Tori Kara Age, Chicken Teriyaki Donburi and Edamame beans with salt. We got a mini buffet of food so we can try the different dishes Wagamama have to offer. They did not disappoint. My favourite from all the meals was the Chicken Teriyaki Donburi. The sticky white rice, succulent and flavourful chicken paired with grated carrot and pea shoot was heaven.
The delivery was really speedy and the website has the estimated time it would come and it was only 5 minutes after so it was pretty spot on for me. Food was nice and hot and not all smashed up which I did worry about seeing as one of them was pretty much chicken noodle soup. Deliveroo doesn’t deliver everywhere at the moment so you better check your post code on the site before getting your hopes up! On the bright side they may deliver to you soon, keep an eye out.
