Everyone is getting excited and looking forward to that gorgeously filling Christmas dinner. People are having a bit too much mulled wine, wearing over the top christmas jumpers and are being merry and before you know it, the christmas period will be over. Here is a few ideas to make the most of your time and some things I certainly will be doing.
This is the best time to have a movie night, no work or school tomorrow to wake up for. Christmas films are the ideal choice, my top 5 are Arthur Christmas, Elf, The Grinch, Home Alone and Home Alone 2. Whats your favourite? I need new Christmas films to watch. Elf was my all time favourite but Arthur Christmas over took it last year. It’s just the best heart warming film.
An afternoon doing some Christmas baking? Theres nothing more festive. The house will have those gorgeous cinnamon and chocolate smells and you can totally pig out. A good idea is to make extra and give them as little extra presents on Christmas day. It’s much more sentimental and it’s nice you took time to make something for your loved ones. Gingerbread men, christmas tree cookies or the classic christmas pudding, make whatever you want.
Help Someone In Need
I’ve seen quite a few adverts and Facebook posts of people helping other with less. Not just throwing money at a charity but it could be someone on your street, someone you know who is going through a bad time. Go out, spend £15-£20 on some shopping Christmas bits and leave it at there door.
What do you like to do in the run up to Christmas?
