I don’t know about the rest of you but sometimes I really struggle to get to sleep and toss and turn. Sit on my laptop, turn it off then go on my phone doing the same stuff, it’s pretty stupid to be honest. A lot of studies have actually said it’s super bad to go on your phone before bed, it doesn’t help you brain get into ‘relax’ mode and keeps you up and your brain active when you should be settling down for bed.
I always like to use a lavender spray around my room when I’m getting settled, it always relaxes me. My favourite sprays to get is the Febreze Sleep Serenity and Avon Sleeptherapy. I spray them all over my curtains, bed and well everywhere aha. I also like to have a pamper sometimes, nothing relaxes you more and makes you feel luxurious then doing your nails, having a bath and a face mask to feel refreshed.
After a relaxing bath and pamper nothing is better then snuggling up in your favourite blanket with some tea and a good book. I’m currently switching between The Night Circus and Wuthering Heights. Fun fact, I was actually named Emily after Emily Bronte. I don’t like normal tea in the evening, been trying to stay away from dairy at bedtime lately. Been having Almond milk in my hot chocolate, dairy just seems to bloat me at the moment. I have been loving the Clippers teas snore and peace, perfect drink before bed.
