I will be posting a few different posts about my meet up #dbbloggermeetup, they will be about different aspects of the meet up so I hope you enjoy 🙂
This post is about socialising and meeting other bloggers. I feel the blogging community is such an amazing and supportive group, you can start talking to someone and instantly feel like you’re friends. Going to events like this is such a good way to promote your blog, swap a few tips and make new friends. I met a few people I’d been speaking to online and a few new people which was lovely to get to know you all.
It was such a lovely atmosphere at the meet up, people were mingling with each other and I hope made some new friends. I think meet ups are an important part of a bloggers lifestyle, it gives you so many more opportunities, you can collaborate with other bloggers, or maybe even a video if you are on YouTube. You can make new friends and it’s great because you will already have stuff in common from blogging.
I find instagram and twitter is the best way to look out for blogger meet ups, you can search meet ups and sometimes companies post blog meet ups, so whatever you are interested in, beauty or fashion, like a few of the pages for them so you don’t miss out! Meet ups are also a great way for bloggers and brands to interact, it gives brands the option to help promote there brand and get a few dozen reviews from bloggers to help share their products. If you live in Coventry or the surrounding area, like the facebook page drainedbeauty blogger meet ups or email me at email@example.com to be put on my guestlist for the next one!
Have you been to any meet ups lately? What did you enjoy the most?
