For the powder room

This is one of the naughty blogger secrets I have, I have never used foundation compact powder before, until now. I can honestly say I am in LOVE with this, I can’t believe I never used it before, I always thought there was no point if you wore foundation and setting powder. How wrong I was.

I have started using the Rimmel Match Perfection powder and I think I got it for like Β£5 ish. I put it on after my body shop tea tree bb cream and have let it dry and settle on my skin. It gives an amazing flawless and air brushed finished, covers pretty much all blemishes, haven’t had to use my concealer all week. This also has a snazzy little applicator and hidden mirror so you can touch up on the go, I find it last perfectly about half the day then its time for a quick refresh. This is deffo a most likely staple but I am tempted to now try other powders after finding my love for them. Any recommendations?

I've never used a powder either! It's probably the really why my makeup never let's throughout the day but this one sounds so good, and I love the little secret compartment for the applicator!Yet Another Makeup Blog.

Great post! Depending on your skin type (and if this is available around you) it Cosmetics powder foundation is amazing. It's really easy to blend and super natural looking. The only problem I find is as you say, it wears fine on my dry skin through half the day and then it needs a retouch. I don't know how it would work with oily skin. I feel like with a powder foundation you get coverage, but it's more natural. It lets just enough of your natural skin to peak through so you don't look like you just painted your face. I will go and look for a similar one that you've got here by Rimmel. Believe it or not, but I've never seen a purple Rimmel anywhere. Why they sell different products in the UK than in the US is beyond me. If there were just vast differences between the two I might understand. But on the beauty front; I just want what "she's blogging about"… ! Much Love,-Stephanie Eva
